Saturday, 10.09:
My chapbook manuscript was declined again. I’ve sent work to this press three times and have never received any inkling of interest. It’s time to cross them off my list and move on. Added three poems, removed another, and sent the revised manuscript off to another press.
Sunday, 10.10:
I’m grateful to the folks at MAYDAY for publishing my poem “Spiral.” This one was very difficult to write, and I sat on it for a few years but kept coming back to try to figure out its shape and intentions. I hope it conveys them.
