Tuesday, 05.10: 

Driving home through a heavy rainstorm: at one point, the buffeting wind is scattering thousands of–hailstones?–but sweeping and scattering so gently that I’m caught in a dissonant bubble of perception: the pounding rain, brilliant lightning, poor visibility against this gentle swoop and scatter of milky white–oh. Locust blossoms.
